Patch 3.3.2 & Arena Season 8 Starting Tomorrow

Fire vs. Arcane in Raids

Is Arcane generally above Fire? Yes. The difference may only be 10% though, and Fire is still above many damage specs. Is Arcane so much higher than Fire than Marks is to Survival? Not really. Yet we see more Survival hunters (in this particular data set on one boss) than we do Fire mages. Clearly more is going on that players just gravitating towards whichever spec does the most damage. (The key word is "just." Players definitely like specs that deliver the most damage, but that does not appear to be the sole governing concern in this case.)

Cataclysm Talent Trees

I was going to bump this to the General forum, but I think the talent tree comment is worth addressing in the role forums, since it applies to class design.

1) We are changing talent trees, in some cases substantially. The major focus is pruning out boring but valuable talents that passively increase say damage or healing.

Arena Season 7 Over, Titles Out

Well, Arena Season 7 has come to an end! I don't know about you guys but for me, it's been a really fun and exciting season. While I didn't play on a top team, I did have the opportunity to play on many various Wizard Cleaves, RMP's, and some odd comps. It has been a great learning experience and I finally secured my Duelist title (yeah, I know, it's not much).

Hope everyone else has had as much fun as me this season. I look forward to seeing you all next season!

Sometimes when you just need to know what happens if you change specs, what you should improve, and what items are worthy upgrades, as well as why, and you simply can't depend on guild/trade chat... You will want something like Rawr.

LAGGG
No matter how epic your gear and skills are, if your CPU is from the stone age or your ping is over 3000 m/s; you will not enjoy playing. But fortunately, there are a few solutions:

Defragging
is another way to do it.As you delete files from your computer, an empty space is left behind. And when you download a new one, the space is filled up randomly. Over time, with all this stuff being just thrown into a pile, things are bound to get messy. Defragging basically organizes everything, making it easier for your files to load. Windows Deraggers and Jk Defrag (http://kessels.biz/JkDefrag) are some viable PC options.

Why is TRUE World PVP frowned upon?

I just finished watching "Death of PVP" by Praxton. I've been touched. It brought tears to my eyes (not really).

It seems that every single thing in this game has been catered in recent years to the players who "just don't want to be messed with." Seriously, sometimes what's good for people/games is things that not everyone likes. Blizzard typically does a good job identifying these things; why do they fail to realize how they've butchered this part of the game?
